What other coaches have said about the DW Basics series & the Tiger DW playbooks

Kevin,

Received the tape last week. Watched it with my 8 year old son and we are both very excited and can not wait for football to start. Tape is GREAT and very thorough. Will get back if there are any questions. Thanks again!!!!, Kevin Dwyer. (Coach Kevin Dwyer)

Coach,
I just finished looking at your tape. It has been really helpful. Keep up the good work and have a good season.
Regards,
David (Coach David Holland)

Kevin,

First off, I have found all your material to be first rate and I would recommend them to anyone. Please use me as a reference...you have really hit a home run. After running the offense for 3 years I needed a fresh approach and you were just what I needed. I love the lead sweep , the jet package and the passing tape was an eye opener for me. The tape is just as good as the second one you produced, it has a nice balance of chalk talk and live footage. It is always nice to see kids running a play after seeing it for the first time...The line blocking is easy is easy to understand and I agree with all your concepts....It's the little details that make this a great teaching tool.

Scott (Coach Scott Roberts)

Kevin,
The wedge sweep is just what I was looking for. Our 1st 4 games the wedge was a killer play for us. Then teams started scouting us and slowed it up a bit. I was looking for something to go along with the
wedge and that was exactly what I need this season... Once again you've been a big help to me. Last season was my 1st as a Head Coach and running the D-Wing on my own. We won the county Championship for the 1st time in our Clubs 30 year history for the 7-9 year old age bracket. So I owe a lot to you with the information that you've been putting out.
Thanks!
Greg (Coach Greg Hall)

Kevin:
I really liked it. I enjoy the way you slo-mo to show intricate details that could otherwise be missed. Keep up the good work.
Mike (Coach Mike Woods)

K,
Opened Saturday, nervously, having been moved up to a new and "more competitive" league. Won against a middle of the pack team in the new league 32-6, about 350-375 on the ground. Had two called back for marginal penalties, plus one play that ended on the one-inch line on the last play of 1st half, so things were actually even better for us in this outing than the score indicates....We ran your Lead Sweep, closely adapted to this set, about 10 times. Three scores, something like 150-175 yards. Awesome, quick, powerful, love it. The bootleg pass off the back (one rep) would have scored, but was slightly overthrown. Trap and G were also very effective. I'm wondering why we could not do these plays well last season. This year, its like opening a can of tuna almost every time -- haven't broken one yet, but 7-8 yards is the norm. Many thanks for your instruction and tips on those plays. We play a very well-coached DW/GAM team this Saturday, and will need them.
Best regards, Jim. (Coach Jim Hooper)

Coach,

I'm emailing you to let you know that I did receive the video and sat down and watched the entire things. I will tell you this much you did open some eyes to how to teach the double-wing. There were a couple things that I
will and can implement for this upcoming season. The white board session where you talk about the use of your best runner at the B-Back position. You present a valid argument. I immediately contacted my DC and told him what you had said. Now we will need to revisit the thought process.
...thanks,
Coach Jason Clarke

Kevin,
Good Job it was worth $25.00 just for the wedge sweep. I am now probably coaching 8 - 10 year olds and needed a sweep that would be simple to teach and that play is a beauty. I just wish there were team highlights like DW1...but I guess we can't have everything.
Tom (Coach Tom Davis)

Hi Kevin,
I just looked at your new tape very good. The wedge buck sweep throw in was the best part for me, if there are any tips or coaching points email me please. At our level 17 to 19 we need a few passes to back people off. Do you pass at all?
Coach Ronald Singer

Hi Kevin,
I received the tape yesterday and popped it into the VCR pronto. Excellent job, nicely done. The use of slo-mo is a big help as far as this tape is concerned. Most instructional football videos don't use it and it makes
the play much harder to follow....
Sincerely,
Coach Dave Potter

Kevin,

Good Luck on your tape. I purchased the first one and it was excellent.
Coach Chuck Klausing

Kevin,
I just wanted to give you some feedback, and thanks, on Trap, G, and the lead Sweep. We're running all of them in the the way you teach in your videos. Could not be more pleased. There all singing along nicely. We had a talk about the G play a while back. I was blind, but now, I see....The lead sweep is working great as well. Many, many thanks for that play. Its the simple, effective tool that I needed. It helps that my A back is a 100% effective reach blocker. I just could not get excited about the buck sweep. I think the FB's alignment in our offense miminizes the effectiveness of the buck fake -- your sweep gets a stud out there where he does some real good and gets fast runners out in the outside lane at speed... (Coach Jim Hooper)

Hey Coach.Great tape. Really learned a lot. after 2 years, have decided to insert the trap as one of our main plays. Never dealt with it before....(Coach Terrance Vanderhall)

Kevin:
I got the tape and had the chance to view it tonight. Great job!! I thought it was very well done in all respects and well organized. (Coach Malcolm Robinson)

Hi Kevin,
I just wanted to let you know I recieved the tape today. I already watched it. Nice job. I'm more excited now about installing the DW than ever. That counter is wicked!
Thanks,
Coach Blaine Smith

Kevin,
I got your tape on Saturday and watched it. It is EXCELLENT. The quality of the production is high and the your explanations of the plays are very good. You might want to advertise that you have the "Wedge Counter" play on the tape... There are always quite a few guys asking about it on the forum. (Coach Dave Codtrill)

Got it Saturday, reviewed it Sunday. Great tape...I'll use it this year in my learning and teaching...if I may though, if you wish to improve upon this tape (and even charge say $10 more) would be to add some of your practice time and how you teach the 3 plays. You tell us how it should work, we see the play run with the boys, but it would be great to see walk-through at practice. Just a thought for improvement, not a criticism in any
way....again great tape...
Thanks (Coach Chris Coleman)

Kevin,
I haven't had a chance to watch the whole tape yet, but what I've watched so far is excellent, a very well done production. Some of the tapes that I buy are pretty marginal production quality, so I really appreciate a well-done tape. (Coach Rick Davis)

Kevin,
Got your tape today. Just watched it for the first time and I thought it was great. I have your first basic dw tape and I thought that was excellent I would be interested in another tape you said you might do. I have a new assistant coach and I made sure he watched your tape along with 10 others of course. I had to pause the tape and view it frame by frame to see some of the plays they were faking me out. Your team looked great.
Thanks again
Jeff (Coach Jeff Osborn)

Kevin,
I got the tape today and once again you did a great job. Thanks again... We start our season Friday.
Thanks,
(Coach Will Burwell)

Hi Kevin

Jeff (Coach Jeff Arlotti)
